I mean I’m still saying that I’d rather know who the fucking making the apps that are going on my phone. I don’t want some random jack hole that don’t know what the fuck they’re doing or that’s allowing spyware into their app or allowing some Bitcoin minor or bond creator on my phone. I’m okay with this move. Google is not saying that you can’t create apps and you can’t even not create apps off of the Play store. What they’re saying is that you have to be verified to have the apps allowed to be installed on your system. Most people can barely run their phones let alone keep them secure. So while it’s an unpopular opinion I personally think it’s a good move.

  • The interesting thing about the summer where I live right now is that we are actually far cooler than any summer recently. Last summer we hit 40 plus days of 100° or more. The Summer before that we are over 20 days of 100°. Not saying that we won’t get there yet but, we have yet to even hit 100° and I’m not sure we’ve even hit in the '90s for more than a couple of hours. At the same time the entire state is on fire because we also had one of the most mild winters with the lowest amount of snowfall in recent records. So yes climate change is real and doesn’t always mean hotter weather sometimes it means fucked up weather. For example Idaho Montana and Wyoming all have snow warnings for this week including possibly up to 2 ft of snow in Montana 10 inches of snow in Wyoming and 8 to 10 in of snow in Idaho. Last week there was a snowstorm in ice flows going down Nampa Idaho. So heat doesn’t the only worry here.

  • You know I will say as an IT tech, that often times works in data centers doing repairs upgrades ads changes etc. That data centers are absolutely horrid to work in. The constant hum in drone will just wear you out. There’s absolutely no way to silence something like that. It literally gets into your bones. That’s why most data centers are not really staffed unless somebody is on site to do some work. This myth of data centers creating jobs is absolutely idiotic. I’ve never been in a data center with more than one or two employees in it. And most of those like I said aren’t full-time employees they literally show up let you in show you where you need to work and will only hang out long enough while you’re on the site. Having to wear headphones in a data center is absolutely mandatory.
