Even if he was allowed to run he’d need the backing of the GOP and the money boys. GOP knows he’s old, failing and unpopular. Donors will have realised he can’t be controlled and for many reasons it would be throwing good money after bad. I just don’t see it.

Given the cyclical nature of American politics and the fact tromp isn’t running again means its likely the democrats will win the next election.
