It seems to me that what Linus Torvalds thinks about AI is pretty clear. There have been multiple messages from him on the kernel mailing list and interviews too to show this.

Yep! A few months ago I installed Windows 11 on my Surface laptop to update the firmware. It took 50mins just to install! After I updated the firmware, EndeavourOS (Arch) took 8mins.
Social media, search engines, email, banking, shopping, news etc. I even have one for my self-hosted stuff.
The only real limitation I’ve had so far is that it doesn’t have enough colours. I think there may be improvements on the way though as Mozilla did a survey about it a while ago which I completed.
You may want to keep some things in the same group such as Reddit and Youtube. Without cookies to keep you signed in on Youtube, embedded videos on Reddit often won’t work.
Seeing as people get away with this shit all the time, this is what Multi-Account Containers on Firefox are for.
You can containerise each website or list of websites to a different tab group that can’t share cookies with each other.
Oh yeah, 400 prob wouldn’t be enough. I have an XFX Swift 9070 and it’ll pull up to 245w. Most CPUs are 65w to 120w IIRC.
This 100%. I upgraded from an RTX2060 to an RTX4060 then 6 months later sold that and bought an RX9070.
I now feel like I have a card that will last me for a long time rather than a bandaid upgrade that’ll do another 1-2 years.
OP, the only thing you need to worry about compatibility-wise is if your PSU (power supply unit) is enough. You can look up TDP (total draw power) for your CPU and prospective GPU and if it’s less than your PSU with some headroom (100w or so usually) you’re good to go. I believe pcpartpicker shows you power requirements anyway if you want to just plug your whole build in there.

FYI decibels are a logarithmic scale so for example 18-24dB is a smaller difference than 24-30dB. That said, some HDD noise is noticeable to some people and not to others. All you can really say is that enterprise drives are loudest followed by NAS drives then regular consumer ones.
